A unique feature of the Comfort Craft table is that it provides a mid-lift split.  Compared to a flat table, this configuration is not only more comfortable for the client but it allows better access to the low back.  The mid-lift split also facilitates effective stretching of the lateral torso and of the abdominal and chest muscles.  Shown here at a full 45 degree split, most clients do quite well with only 10 to 20 degrees of split.  In fact, providing just 10 degrees of split while in a face down position takes pressure off of the low back, allowing you to relax and gain maximum therapeutic effect.
